The OES survey is a semiannual mail survey measuring occupational employment and wage rates for wage and salary workers in nonfarm establishments, by industry, in the United States. The OES survey is a cooperative program between States and the U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
Occupational Wages are displayed for the United States, the State of Arkansas, the Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs) and the Local Workforce Investment Areas. The OES survey classifies occupations using the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) system. Data is released two times a year and is displayed on this web site by occupation for Estimated Employment, Entry Wage of the occupation, Experienced Wage, Mean Wage, Median Wage, Wage at the 10th Percentile, Wage at the 25th Percentile, Wage at the 75th Percentile, and the Wage at the 90th Percentile.
